Install IonTV on your TV
Open the app on your Android TV device and sign in with Google or email — right from the TV, or create the account on the web.

Link it with a QR code
The TV shows a QR code and a 6-character code. Scan it or type it in the web cabinet or the IO Aura app — the device joins your account.

Agree to share, pick a mode
Sharing starts only after you agree on the device. Then choose per device: ION only, or ION + Spark.

Collect and claim
Rewards build up while the device is online. When you reach a tier, tap “Get code” — nothing is issued without you.

You can stop at any time
Withdraw consent or unlink a device whenever you want. Sharing stops immediately, and what you already earned stays in your account.
Points, not money
ION and Spark are reward points with no cash value. ION is redeemed only through promo codes; Spark only counts towards the giveaway.
Honest about your network
Sharing uses your bandwidth and counts towards your data plan if you have one. Use IonTV only on a connection you are allowed to share.

Questions people ask first
Why does a device show paused or offline?
Paused means the device is online and checking in, but Android quietly re-enabled battery optimisation for the app — this happens on its own sometimes. Open the device's settings and turn it off again to resume. Offline means the device hasn't checked in at all — check its connection or power directly.
What's the difference between ION only and ION + Spark?
Each device can be set independently. ION only puts everything into ION at the full rate. ION + Spark splits the earnings — you also get Spark, but ION accrues slower on that device.
How do ION and Spark codes work?
ION builds up from your devices — once you reach a tier, claim it as a code and redeem it in IonEx for a gift card. Spark works differently: it doesn't cash out — it boosts your chances in the weekly giveaway on Gleam, where prizes range from $5 to $500 in gift cards. Both accrue at the same time on a device set to ION + Spark.
How do I add a new device?
Tap “Add device” in the web cabinet, then scan the QR code shown on your TV's sign-in screen — or enter its short code manually.
What happens if I unlink a device?
Sharing stops immediately and the device returns to its sign-in screen. Codes and ION already earned from it stay in your account.
Which account do I sign in with?
Use the same Google account — or the same email — on the web as on your TV. Matching logins is what links the cabinet and the TV to one account and one balance.
