Install IonTV on your TV

IonTV is not in app stores: you download it straight from us. You need a TV or a box with Android TV or Google TV and about five minutes.

Four steps

    Install Downloader

    On the TV, install the free Downloader by AFTVnews app. Check that the developer is AFTVnews: there are other apps with the same name.

  2. 02

    Allow it to install apps

    Open Downloader and allow it to install apps when the TV asks. If it doesn't ask, find “Install unknown apps” in the TV's settings (usually under Apps or Security) and turn it on for Downloader.

  3. 03

    Enter tv.ionika.cc

    Type tv.ionika.cc in the address field and press Go. The latest version of IonTV downloads.

  4. 04

    Install and open

    Press Install, then Open. Downloader then offers to delete the downloaded file: you no longer need it.

Then link the TV to your account

IonTV shows a QR code and a 6-character code. Scan it with your phone or enter it in the IonTV Pulse cabinet, and the TV appears in your account.

If something doesn't work

“App not installed”

Usually the TV is out of free space, or an IonTV from another source is already installed. Free up space or remove the old IonTV, then install again.

The TV warns about an app from an unknown source

That is normal for apps installed outside a store. Install only the file from tv.ionika.cc.

How do I update?

Enter tv.ionika.cc in Downloader again and install over the current version. The app's data stays.

The download doesn't start

Check the address — tv.ionika.cc, without “www” — and that the TV is online.

Download IonTV only from tv.ionika.cc.
